Abstract
Economic revival in Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) which has been unstable politically is being promoted by boosting tourism and foreign investments. Recently, terrorist activities that have spilled over from neighboring countries like in the Pahalgam attack in 2025, have created problems for these efforts. It explores how such attacks can upset international peace efforts by causing investors to lose interest and lowering tourist arrivals. By looking at how attacks have occurred near major economic and tourist centers in Pakistan and what Pakistan wants to achieve, this paper try to connect terrorism with economic destabilization in the region. The results show that these attacks are intended to stop development and stop communities from adapting to a stable situation.
