Abstract
The
purpose of this research was to find out the how the language learning models
can enhance language proficiency in higher education. The study stressed mainly
on ChatGPT, the much-developed large language model and its implications. The
sample comprised of teachers in higher education. The data collection was done
by making use of semi structured interview schedule and analysis of the data
was in done on the basis of themes and also a SWOC analysis was conducted which
explained that the use of ChatGPT is much easier and less costly, it has many
challenges for future. The study also explained that ChatGPT can be used as a
tool for enhancing the language learning in higher education easily.
